Don Ruef will not run for seventh term as 9th District alderman
Don Ruef, a Kenosha alderman for the past 12 years, will not seek a seventh term in 2010.
Ruef, who has represented the city’s 9th District on the south side of Kenosha since 1998, filed his non-candidacy papers with the city last month. Ruef, who is 79 years old, said he was ready to step aside from the City Council after a dozen years.
