Ranting, threats will get us nowhere

Enough, already.

We understand you right-wing and utra-conservatives are scared, no more than the rest of us. But the difference between us left-wingers and moderates is that we tend to believe in the “if you’re not part of the solution you must be part of the problem” philosophy. Not “the squeaking wheel gets the grease” philosophy.

You people rant, pout and stomp your feet about ill-supported and percieved threats until you get what you want. Your party leaders and talking heads consistently press the raw emotion buttons that get you to follow them in lockstep word for word. If one of you has a thought of your own, you’re labeled a liberal , simply because you have shown the ability to think for yourself.

I am angry at our president. I feel he has set the wrong direction and therefore compromised health care legislation, has taken the wrong advice, ( i.e., Geitner and Summers et al. ) on our economic problems and as such has hurt our progress on rebuilding our failing infrastructure. But, I am absolutly furious with the GOP and the right-wing conservative talking heads. They have not offered any constructive alternative legislation or ideas, except those that will maintain the status quo (even though it is clear that something needs to be changed), and say and vote no.

So again I say enough.
