Ryan chose sides on health care bill

Enough mud slinging. Let’s check the verifiable facts.

Fact: The Affordable Health Care for America Act will reduce the federal deficit by $104 billion over 10 years per the Congressional Budget Office.

Fact: The health care bill is fully funded also per the Congressional Budget Office.

Fact: Even the traditionally conservative American Medical Association endorses this legislation. So it must be good for doctors and their patients.

Fact: The American Association of Retired Persons, a strictly non-partisan group, also endorses The Affordable Health Care for America Act. So it must be good for Americans 50 years and older.

Fact: The Council of Economic Advisors states that the health care reform legislation “... would reduce the current burdens on small firms and their workers.” So it must be good for small business.

Fact: Paul Ryan has taken over $1.5 million in campaign contributions over his career from the health insurance and related industry groups and individuals. This is per the Federal Election Commission.

Fact: Paul Ryan voted against the bill that would reduce the federal deficit, help doctors and their patients, reduce current burdens on small business plus help Americans 50 years and older.

Given the above facts ask yourself: Whose side is Paul Ryan on?
