Nieghborhood fireworks displays, although illegal, are commonplace this time of year. What are your thoughts?

Police should be notified immediately and participants should be heavily fined.

Unless explosions last into the wee hours of the morning or property is damaged, the police need not be called.

Fellow residents should handle it themselves and politely voice their concerns to those shooting off fireworks. Police have enough to worry about.

There's no reason to get mad over neighborhood fireworks displays. It's the Fourth of July!
