It's all about YOU!

Name: Rachael Marie Brulport

Gender: Female

City of residence: Kenosha

Hometown: Kenosha

Education: High school

Age: 22

Occupation: Stay-at-home mommy

What is your ideal job: Interior designer or illustrator.

Any pets? I have a fluffy black cat named Lula Belle. She’s spoiled.

Do you sing in the shower? I somehow always have New Kids On The Block stuck in my head. “(You Got The) Right Stuff” is usually belted out while im washing my hair.

Do you have a favorite song? In no particular order: “Waiting for my Ruca” (Sublime), “Baby, I’m Gonna Leave You” (Led Zeppelin), “Priorities Intact” (The Impossibles), “I Want to know Your Plans” (Say Anything), and most recently “Innamorata” (Dean Martin). My fiance and I decided that was our wedding song.

Favorite reads: I’m currently intrigued by Stephen Colbert’s “I am America (And So Can You!)”

How often do you read the newspaper? It’s part of my daily routine: Wake up, make a bottle, grab the paper, feed the baby, read the paper, play with baby. I absolutely adore the comic “LIO.” It’s quite possibly the highlight of my morning.

Favorite TV shows: I am obsessed with “The Office,” but who isn’t? But anything on the Food Network or The Discovery Channel will suffice.

What TV shows are you embarrassed to admit you watch? Oh goodness. “The Hills”. And “Girls Next Door.” Shhhhh....

Favorite movies? “Home Alone,” “Waiting,” “Mean Girls,” “Anchorman” and anything by Kevin Smith. In fact, my son is named after the Brodie in “Mallrats.”

What are you most likely to be in search of when you raid the fridge after midnight? A bottle of formula. Sometimes I have enough time to swig some apple raspberry juicy juice for myself.

If you were sent to the moon with nothing but a book and a book light, what would book would you choose? “Italian for Dummies.” I would swoon some Martians with my bilingual skills.

Are you interested in sports? I’m probably the least athletic person I know. I mean I’ll run around the block a few times if I’m feeling a little bulky but otherwise ice cream is my sport.

Do you have any hobbies? Hobby Lobby is my second home. They know me there.

If you could be any superhero, what powers would you have? I’d be Super Duper Gourmet Dinner Woman!! With the simple swish of my spatula, my table is adorned with delectable entrees and desserts.

Are you religious? Religion intrigues me. I believe in evolution, but I’m not completely strict on that. I’m really quite open to the subject. I appreciate my life and I think that’s what matters.

Where is your favorite place to go in Kenosha County? Simmons Island, no matter the season. The sand, the water, the lighthouse ... so many great memories over the last 22 years.

Do you believe in ghosts? No. But my upstairs neighbors like to blame the cacophony on them.

Which summer festival was your favorite? Why? I enjoyed the Tall Ships. I was eight months pregnant so when the fireworks boomed I felt my baby kick a lot. It was awesome.

If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? It’s a tough call but ill say giant triple decker BLTs.

What was your favorite grade i! n school and why? Senior year of high school. I was voted Central’s “Most likely to never grow up,” and I played Zaneeta Shinn in “The Music Man.”

What is your pet peeve? When people don’t use their turn signals, its built right next to the steering wheel for a reason. And when people leave water running.

What is your worst habit? Incoherent baby talk. “Whoozat witto bebe? Bebe wanna yummy baba?”
