REICHERT & KELSEY

WINE KNOT BAR & BISTRO

It's all about YOU!

Name: Katie Dibble

Gender: Female

City of residence: Pleasant Prairie

Hometown: Kenosha

Education: College

Age: 25

Occupation: Customer service

Ideal job: Traveling the world What is the coolest/strangest thing about your family? Always be prepared to laugh when my family gets together. You might learn more about those closest to you than you bargained for sometimes, too!

Any pets? Three dogs (Daisy, Zoey, and Sophia) and a hamster (Peanut)

Do you sing in the shower? Of course, and I am probably not all that great. It’s usually the last song I heard or whatever is currently stuck in my head.

What are your favorite tunes? My taste in music ranges from one end of the spectrum to the other. Music creates, changes and intensifies your mood. I look at it this way ... life is like a movie and every movie needs a great soundtrack.

Favorite reads: Jodi Picoult, Janet Evanovich, Patricia Cornwell, Mary Higgins Clark, Diane Mott Davidson and random books I pick up that sound interesting. My nose is in a book so often that I typically can read at least a book a week. I just finished “The Next Big Thing” and “Your Big Break” by Johanna Edwards and “Garden Spells” by Sarah Addison Allen. I am currently reading “The Accidental Mother” by Rowan Coleman. Up next is the new Jodi Picoult book “Change of Heart.”

Favorite TV shows: Not much time for TV. When I do have some free time I typically seek out new episodes or reruns of “Ugly Betty,” “Law and Order,” “CSI,”“ Crossing Jordan,” “The Closer” or “Sex and the City.”

Favorite movies: Very mood dependant ... usually funny ones... although I appreciate a good “chick flick” once in a while just as much as any other girl. It’s always good to see other people’s happy endings... it makes you want to continue to search for yours i f you haven’t already found it.

What is your dream job? Investigator

What are you most likely searching for when you raid the fridge after midnight? Water

If you were sent to the moon with nothing but a book and a book light, what book would you choose? Jodi Picoult’s book “Keeping Faith”

If you were on a reality television show, which would you want it to be and why? I was on the Tyra Banks show for her “Singlesville” episode and I had a lot of fun! If I had to pick a reality show to be on I would have to say I think it would be fun to be the next Bachelorette! :-D

Favorite sports: Football (playing over watching), volleyball (playing over watching), basketball (playing over watching), and baseball (watching over playing).

Hobbies: Traveling, reading, cooking, making people laugh, photography, a nice bottle of wine, movies, sports, visiting with friends, music, dancing, art, being OUTSIDE when it’s above freezing to enjoy a long walk or just lay out and absorb the sunshine. Oh, the list goes on!

If you could be any superhero, what powers would you have? The power to fly.

Are you religious? I think there is a higher, some would say spiritual being, but I don’t necessarily believe in God as defined by most organized religions.

What is your favorite place to go in Kenosha County? The lakes, the museums, Common Grounds

What’s your favorite ethnic food? I would take any ethnic dish over a burger and fries any day! I love the Greek dishes my family on my mom’s side makes!

What is one thing most people don’t know about you? I love finding girly shoes that fit my big feet and funky purses that no one else is likely to have.

What is the best advice you have received? Don’t give up.

If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
That’s tied between salad and cereal. I could survive on those two foods alone!

What was your favorite grade in school and why? All of them, and none of them. I love to learn new things so school always came easy to me. I just hated the cliques that came with being in the educational setting. Regardless of what people say, it is that way for both public and private school ... uniforms or not.

What is your pet peeve? People who don’t use their turn signals! They come free with the purchase of every vehicle you buy (new AND used) so don’t be afraid to use them.
