What is the coolest/strangest thing about your family? We still have family heritage in Germany, including a castle!

Any pets? Two cats, six rats, two dogs (and a partridge in a pear tree). Do you sing in the shower? Only if the water changes too quickly! Brrrrrrr.

Do you have any favorite songs? “Closer,” “The Hand that Feeds,” “Capital G” and “Hurt” by Nine Inch Nails Favorite reads: Anything by Robert Jordan, especially the “Wheel of Time” series.

How often do you read the newspaper? Daily; I work for it.

What are your favorite television shows? “House,” “Lost,” “24,” “Flight Quest,” “Dirty Jobs,” “Mythbusters,” “Alias,” “Simpsons,” “Family Guy,” “Buffy,” “Angel,” “Battlestar Galactica,” “Farscape,” “CSI” (all of them), “NCIS” and just about anything on Animal Planet.

What show are you embarrassed to admit you watch? “Design on a Dime” on HGTV.

What are your favorite movies? “The Notebook,” “War,” “Lord of the Rings,” movies that star Jet Lee or Jackie Chan, “The Simpsons Movie” (“Spider pig, spider pig, does whatever a spider pig does.”)

What is your dream job? CIO at Microsoft

What are you most likely to be searching for when you raid the fridge after midnight? Chocolate milk and cookies

If you were sent to the moon with nothing but a book and a book light, what book would you choose? “The Wheel of Time: The Dragon Reborn” by Robert Jordan.

Favorite sports: Just about anything outside!

Hobbies: Rubber stamping, video games, computer games, sewing and crafts.

If you could be any superhero, what powers would you have? Flight, night vision, invisibility and strength.

Are you religious? Nope. Haven’t since I was confirmed at the age of 16.

What is your favorite place to go in Kenosha County? Any of the hiking trails — like Petrifying Springs Park on Highway A.

What are your favorite ethnic foods? Italian then Mexican

What is one thing most people don’t know about you? I collect cookbooks. What is the best advice you have received? Don’t let the door hit you on the way out!

Do you believe in ghosts? Yes I do, I believe that they are troubled spirits waiting to let go of whatever is keeping them here.

If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? Pasta

What was your favorite grade in school and why? Junior in high school; my advance classes were the most fun!

What is your pet peeve? People NOT changing the empty toilet paper rolls. What is your worst habit? Putting too many items on my list of things to accomplish. At this rate, I will never get things finished.
