What is the coolest/strangest thing about your family? It is very cool that my parents are still happily married for 30-plus years and that we all get along so well!

Do you have a favorite song? “Flashlight” by Parliment, “Crosseyed and Painless” by The Talking Heads and “Mellow Mood” by Bob Marley

What are your favorite reads? “On the Road” by Jack Kerouac, “Naked” by David Sedaris, “Into the Wild” by Jon Krakauer, Relix magazine and “Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy” by Douglas Adams

Favorite TV shows? “Aqua Teen,” “Family Guy,” “Simpsons,” “Lost” and “The Daily Show”
What shows are you embarrassed to admit you have watched? I used to watch soaps in college as an excuse to skip class.

Favorite films? “The Big Lebowski,” “Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas” and “Zoolander.”

If you were on a reality television show, which would you want it to be and why? “Top Chef” because I think I could make it a few rounds.

Favorite sports: Tennis, skiing, cross-county skiiing and mountain biking

Hobbies: Hiking, camping, reading, taking as many pictures as possible and cooking

If you could be any superhero, what powers would you have? I’d like to be able to stop time.

Are you religious? I am for Christmas, Easter, baptisms and weddings. I used to go to church a lot more, but I like my Sundays too much.

Where is your favorite place to go in Kenosha County? Petrifying Springs or the shore of Lake Michigan to collect beach glass

What’s your favorite ethnic food? Falafel

What is one thing about you many people don’t know? I’m a hardcore Democrat.

What is the best advice you have ever received? Whatever you do, take care of your shoes.

Do you believe in ghosts?Yes. They scare the heck out of me sometimes.

Which summer festival was your favorite? Why? All Good Music Festival in West Virginia. Killer music, good people and you can’t beat camping out for three nights on top of a mountain!

If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? Cheese.

What was your favorite grade in school and why? Senior year at Tremper. It was nice to be on top of the heap and have lots of friends to hang out with that year.

What is your pet peeve? People who complain about everything.
