About Library Terrace Assisted Living

Small enough to be home-like yet large enough to offer the amenities and services one might expect in larger senior communities. Library Terrace Assisted Living in Kenosha WI offers a continuum of care in a long-established, single-family home neighborhood. Located adjacent to the Kenosha Southwest Neighborhood Library, the campus is conveniently situated near Festival Foods, Walgreen’s pharmacy, banking, medical clinics, churches, restaurants and much more!
The campus consists of Library Terrace Apartments – 26 apartment units where seniors can age in place and receive up to 28 hours of services per week depending on their needs — and Library Terrace Suites – 20 units for seniors with higher care needs. Offering a continuum of care allows seniors to move in while still relatively independent and then age in place as their needs change over time.
A variety of services are offered tailored to each resident’s needs. Our chefs get to know the food preferences of each individual and menus feature fresh fruits and vegetables plus high quality meats and fish. We offer life enriching activities aligned with the interests of our residents including a Senior Fitness program with Tai Chi classes. Our full time on campus registered nurse does weekly wellness checks and works closely with our direct care staff to monitor changes in condition. Our 24/7 staff are here to respond to needs as they arise, day or night.
The smaller building size can ease the transition from a home of many years and allows new residents to quickly get to know the staff and other Library Terrace seniors. Service packages are based on the nurse’s assessment and customized to meet individual needs. Levels of care allow services to be increased or decreased as resident needs change. At Library Terrace the focus is on the whole person including physical, spiritual, social and mental well-being.

“I choose Library Terrace for my Mom because of the small, family-friendly environment. It was not so big that it would be overwhelming for her and would be easier and for her to get around and feel comfortable with the staff. I feel that the Staff really care about the residents and treat my Mom well.”
