Starting school is a significant milestone for children and families. Ready, Set, Learn! is designed to help you and your child feel confident, informed, and excited about the year ahead.
Whether your child will be entering 4K (age 4 on or before Sept. 1) or kindergarten (age 5 on or before Sept. 1), this open house is an opportunity to discover what Kenosha Unified School District has to offer. Families with 3- and 4-year-olds can also learn about Head Start (eligibility requirements apply).
Whether you are new to the district or returning, staff are available to support you every step of the way.
At this event, families will have the opportunity to learn about school readiness, available programs, and support services.

Staff will guide you through the registration process, answer questions, and help you feel comfortable with your child’s first school experience. The goal is for every family to leave feeling informed, supported, and excited about what is ahead.
Families can register online and bring the required documents listed below to the event, or bring their documents and complete registration with staff assistance onsite.
