KENOSHA, Wis. — The Parkside Rangers are set to open their 2026 volleyball season at the BritKare/Lady Buff Invitational in Canyon, Texas. Parkside will begin the weekend against Adams State University before taking on host and No. 19-ranked West Texas A&M University on Friday. The Rangers will return to action Saturday against Tuskegee University and (RV) Oklahoma Baptist University.

Scouting Adams State
The Grizzlies finished the 2025 season with a 15-15 overall record. Andre Foster enters his first season as the head coach of Adams State and will make his coaching debut with the program this weekend. The Grizzlies return two Honorable Mention All-RMAC selections in Katie Bauer and Rowan Tribelhorn. Adams State was selected to finish 11th in the 2026 RMAC Volleyball Preseason Coaches' Poll. Friday's matchup will mark the first meeting between Parkside and Adams State since 2008, with the Rangers holding a 1-0 advantage in the all-time series.
Scouting West Texas A&M
The Lady Buffs finished the 2025 season with a 23-8 overall record and advanced to the NCAA Division II Tournament. Head coach Terry Gamble enters his second season at the helm of the program. West Texas A&M returns All-LSC Second Team selection Kaycee Cavanaugh and All-LSC Honorable Mention honoree Bromli Watson. The Lady Buffs were selected to finish second in the 2026 LSC Preseason Poll. Friday's matchup will be the first meeting between Parkside and West Texas A&M.
Scouting Tuskegee
The Golden Tigers finished the 2025 season with a 14-13 overall record. Rene Crockett enters her first season as the head coach at Tuskegee University. Jasmine Brantley was selected to the 2026 Preseason All-SIAC Volleyball Team after ranking third in the SIAC in total digs last season. Tuskegee was selected to finish 10th in the 2026 SIAC Preseason Poll. Saturday's matchup will mark the first meeting between Parkside and Tuskegee.
Scouting Oklahoma Baptist
The Bison finished the 2025 season with a 22-10 overall record. Anna Howle enters her 19th season as the head coach at Oklahoma Baptist. Oklahoma Baptist returns All-GAC First Team selection Rylee Unruh and All-GAC Second Team selection Emily Boyer. The Bison were selected to finish second in the 2026 GAC Preseason Coaches' Poll. Saturday's matchup will mark the first meeting between Parkside and Oklahoma Baptist.
